The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program at SGI School of Nursing is a three-and-a-half-year diploma program designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in nursing. The GNM curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in nursing sciences, medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, psychiatric nursing, and midwifery. The program includes:

To be eligible for the GNM program, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
• Minimum educational qualification: 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent
• Minimum aggregate marks: 45% (40% for reserved categories)
• Age limit: 17 to 35 years as on December 31st of the admission year
• Medical fitness certificate
• Valid registration with the State Nursing Registration Council
The selection process typically includes a written test and personal interview.
