The institutes lay stress on assignments, practical training, personality development, sports and co-curricular activities to explore potential and ensure self discipline in students.
Every student is assigned a student mentor (a faculty member). Students can directly discuss their studies with them. Mentors meet students once a fortnight to discuss progress.
Special classes are conducted for students who are weak and who do not perform well in their internal examinations and class tests.
Interaction with students and their involvement in college activities, suggestion boxes, student mentors etc. are the other features in this direction.
Parents are informed about the performance of their ward from time to time. Parents are requested to be in touch with the student mentor / Department Head on a regular basis.
Concerned subject teachers visit the hostels once in a week for doubt clearing classes, ensuring students get support beyond classroom hours.
