Head of Department

It is with great honor and a deep sense of commitment that I welcome you to the Departments of Civil Engineering and Architecture Assistantship at Suddhananda Residential Polytechnic (SRP). As the Head of these two integral departments, I am entrusted with the mission of shaping the future builders and designers who will lay the foundation of our nation's infrastructure.

Our Civil Engineering department, with a dedicated strength of 60 students, focuses on the core principles of structural design, construction management, environmental engineering, and urban planning. We strive to equip our students with the technical expertise and ethical grounding required to create safe, sustainable, and resilient infrastructure.

Complementing this, the Architecture Assistantship department, with 30 creative and motivated students, emphasizes the artistic and technical aspects of building design. Here, students learn to blend aesthetics with functionality, mastering skills in drafting, building materials, and computer-aided design to support the creation of inspiring and efficient spaces.

At SRP, we believe in a hands-on, project-based learning approach. Our well-equipped labs and workshops—including surveying, concrete technology, and CAD labs—provide students with practical exposure that bridges the gap between theory and real-world application. Our curriculum is designed to meet industry standards while encouraging innovation and sustainability.

Guided by a team of experienced and dedicated faculty, we aim to nurture not only skilled technicians but also responsible professionals who understand the social and environmental impact of their work.

I am proud of the passion and perseverance shown by our students and am confident that they will go on to build a smarter, safer, and more beautiful world.

To all aspiring engineers and designers: Join us at SRP to build your dreams and shape the skyline of tomorrow.

Sincerely,

Mr. Pratap Kumar Sethi
